From the graph can you generalize that the higher the layer of the atmosphere (that is closer to the sun)the hotter the temperature?

why or why not?

 

Not, because of its temperature the most hottest atmosphere is mesosphere because it traps the heat the highest atmosphere which is the exosphere is cold because it has less heat even if it is closer to the sun.
