San Andreas Fault is an example of transform fault boundary. Most transform fault boundary are located under the ocean and only few were found on the continents and San Andreas Fault is one of them found in California.

In transform fault boundary, the plates are sliding past each other creating friction between them. This friction produced would result to Strong Earthquake.

Areas near San andreas are quite dangerous due to production of stronger earthquakes.
